Job Title: Survey Department Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Survey Department Manager.

As the Survey Department Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our survey department. We are looking for a proven leader who possesses a PLS license and has extensive experience in the field. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate all surveying activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project specifications.

Your Responsibilities and Duties:

- Lead and manage the survey department, providing guidance and support to a team of dedicated professionals.

- Conduct survey-related tasks, collect and analyze data, and prepare accurate reports for various construction projects.

- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of surveying activities into overall project plans.

- Mentor and train junior surveyors, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth and development.

- Utilize advanced surveying technologies and equipment to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data collection and analysis.

- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, implementing innovative surveying techniques to improve project outcomes.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

- Possess a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license (Preferred).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying, with a proven track record of successfully leading survey teams.

- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and tools, including GPS, total stations, and laser scanners.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data accurately and provide actionable insights.

- Proficient in using industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and surveying software.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

- Demonstrated leadership qualities, with a passion for mentoring and developing junior staff.
